A:
It's the management team that is the ultimate decision maker on
software quality issues. It's the development team that determines
if the uncovered bugs can be corrected, but it's the management team,
the customers, and the users who determine if the uncovered bugs are
to be corrected. It isn't the responsibility of software testers to
decide if the software can be placed into production.
