What if your customer doesn't answer your questions?

What if your customer doesn't answer your questions?

Q: What if your customer doesn't answer your questions?

A: If your customer won?t clarify their test needs, does not want to be bothered, or wants to leave it to the "professionals", then the feature is almost always unneeded. If the customer is no help, you should assume the project is no high priority. If it was high priority, then they would make the effort to specify the tests. Should the developers go ahead and do the work anyway? No! Help the customer, but don't do it all for them. Do not build the functionality. If you are required to build it anyway, then go ahead, but you might find it to be a waste of time.
